What makes our Krill Oil so special?

At World A.B.S we like to go that little bit further to bring you the best, its what drives us as a company, so when we started researching into Krill Oil we discovered that Krill soured from certain areas and depths can contain almost twice as much beneficial nutrients as Krill from some of the more commonly fished areas. This difference stems from the Krill's very own diet and can seriously effect the quality of its oil, its overall purity and ultimately it's nutritional content.

Upon discovery of this vital aspect of Krill quality we began to look at supply chains and production, in particular researching what is currently available and what could become available if we invested enough interest in the level of quality we required. We also wanted a Krill Oil free from contaminants and toxins such as mercury, heavy metals and pesticides that are increasingly creeping in to cheaper market fish oils. A relationship with a sustainable producer approved by the Marine Stewardship Council was established and things began to really move forward fast.

After we had mastered the product inside the capsules we then began to research ways of how best to contain and preserve the quality of the Krill Oil we had worked to hard to develop and source. We spent time analysing the effects of each type of capsule shell and its reaction activity thereof, which lead to conclusive findings proving that the simple 'Marine fish Gelatine' capsules allows the Krill oil to be absorbed easier and quicker into the body and has a greatly reduced chance of post production impurities forming within the Krill oil, which can appear in 'Bovine Gelatine' capsules commonly used for cheaply produced Krill products.
